A juice cleanse involves consuming fruit and vegetable juices for a set period to catch your gut up to speed. Fruit and veg should make up HALF of our every plate, but our busy and bustling lifestyles can sometimes make counting to 2 and 5 more complicated than it needs to be.

During a cleanse, you may experience highs and lows, both of which are natural as the body adjusts to a change in diet. What’s the difference between Cleanse Juices & Retail Juices?
xpressed Retail Juices are designed for regular consumption, while our Cleanse Juices are part of a considered program to temporarily replace your diet for a specified time.

How fresh is fresh?
Our juices are pressed daily, and the juices delivered to your door are made the same day! Talk about fresh. 

How long do xpressed Juice products last?
The shelf life of xpressed Juices is between four and six days, as long as they are stored correctly – please see our FAQs for the shelf-life list of each juice. As we avoid preservatives and additives, they won’t last as long as the tinned food in your Nan’s cupboard, but they’re usually consumed well before then anyway! Appropriate storage #JuiceTLC is a must.

* Your juices must be kept chilled at under 5 degrees celsius at all times; most fridge temperatures are set between 3 and 5 degrees.

How many juices are in each cleanse?
You will receive 8 per day in every cleanse box, all to be consumed in a particular order. There are 8 juices in a 1-day cleanse, 24 juices in a 3-day cleanse, and 40 juices in a 5-day cleanse. Each program is carefully considered to deliver maximum nutrients to you. The order in which we recommend consuming each juice is very deliberate and will affect how your body digests its contents. For example, the juice you drink on an empty stomach is different to that which will give you enough energy to power through the afternoon. Stick to the program, and you’ll reap the benefits!

Who can participate in a cleanse?
While we would love for everyone to enjoy what an xpressed Cleanse offers, we recommend consulting your doctor if you have a medical condition, chronic illness, or are on prescription medication. We also do not recommend a cleanse if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Children under 18 should not undertake a cleanse, but they are more than welcome to try our juice range as part of their regular diet.

Will I feel hungry?
We won’t lie – it is likely you will miss food, but typically the chewing and tastes that we want! Our cleanses are nutritionally designed to supply you with a sufficient caloric intake to sustain you properly throughout your cleanse. Of course, any change in diet can evoke a response from your body, but this is entirely normal. We recommend low GI foods to curb those cleanse-y cravings if you decide to eat.

How should I prepare for a cleanse?
We don’t recommend going cold turkey on caffeine or sweets, so you should prepare for your cleanse a few days beforehand. Increase your water intake and swap the processed foods for fresh fruit and veg to help your body ease into the cleanse.

Where do you deliver to?

xpressed can be delivered from North Brisbane to Byron Bay and anywhere in between. We are based on the sunny Gold Coast, which means we can’t deliver too far beyond, or we risk the juices’ freshness. Both cleanses and bottles can be delivered straight to your door – please arrange a time and place that best suits you so we can ensure each bottle of liquid-y goodness is loaded directly into a fridge.

Can I pick my order up from somewhere?
You sure can! Heck, we’d love to meet you. Our Pressery is located on the beautiful Gold Coast at 5A/19 Central Dr, Burleigh Heads QLD 4220 – we are the first glass doors (on your left) in the building if you do. Just let us know the day before when you plan on dropping by so that we can have your juices packed and ready to go.
